What are ‘exceptional circumstances’?
How to apply for an exemption of your CPD requirements under exceptional circumstances.
AMA CPD Home is committed to supporting you to meet your CPD requirements throughout the CPD year. We understand that there may be times when due to exceptional circumstances an unreasonable burden may be placed on doctors, impinging on their ability to meet their CPD requirements.
As a subscriber to AMA CPD Home you can apply for an exemption of your CPD requirements if you find yourself in this position.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Read the Exemption Policy to determine if you qualify for a full or partial exemption.
- To apply, login to your CPD Home account and complete the ‘Exemption Application Form‘ found in the ‘Learning Resources‘ tab, then scroll down to the ‘Administrative Forms and Applications’ box.
- Complete the application form remembering to upload your accepted supporting evidence and click ‘Submit’.
The review of your application may take up to six weeks. You will then be notified by email of the outcome upon the completion of the review.
