How to meet the criteria as a Certified Learning Provider

As a learning provider, you can apply to have your learning activities accredited by CPD Home. This is a two-phase process:

Phase 1: Certification as a Learning Provider

You'll be required to follow the below steps:

  1. Complete the online registration form with your business/company name, logo, key contact details, and adult learning qualifications and/or experience.
  2. Complete the online learning module 'Roles and Responsibilities of Certified Learning Providers'. This module outlines the accreditation process and administration requirements following content approval.
  3. Sign the Certified Learning Provider 'Terms'.
  4. Pay the certification fees. (Email enquiries@cpdhome.org.au to request our fee list.)

The application review may take up to four weeks to complete. Following the review, you'll be notified of the outcome in writing.

A CPD Home Certified Learning Provider logo for promotional purposes will be provided for use until 31 December 2024.

Phase 2: Accreditation of Learning Activities

After a CPD provider is certified, learning activities that align to the CPD Program can be individually submitted online for accreditation.

The CPD Home team will review your application and respond within 15 business days. Certified Learning Providers aren’t permitted to promote the activity as 'CPD Home accredited' until approval has been granted in writing.

Applications will be reviewed against the following criteria:

  • The learning relates to one or more CPD activities listed in the CPD Home Program Guide.
  • The CPD activity criteria have been adequately met.
  • The module information page has been submitted, including sub-module pages where relevant.
  • A current CPD Home Subscriber has reviewed the learning content and determined its relevance to the CPD Program Guide for the target audience(s).
  • The activity is based on adult learning principles.
  • All required documentation has been submitted.
  • For clinical content, review may be required by the CPD Advisory Panel sub-specialty group.
