Planning your professional development has never been easier. CPD Home has done the hard work for you. Read our helpful tips below to start your 2024 CPD year successfully.
Use our CPD Plan to write your learning goals for 2024, identify your learning focus topic areas and the types of activities you are considering engaging in that align with your registered scope of practice.
If you have not completed a CPD Plan before, CPD Home has developed a self-paced online module to assist.
The ‘Planning for Learning in 2024’ module provides guidance to plan your CPD activities that support your professional goals, while meeting your CPD obligations relevant to your registered scope of practice under the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) Registration Standard: Continuing professional development (the Standard).
With a vast array of over 250 CPD activities, the CPD Home Catalogue is well equipped to cater to your professional learning needs.
Both Domain 1: Educational Activities and Domain 2: Reviewing Performance and Measuring Outcomes CPD activities can be accessed through the Catalogue.
If you are unable to find an activity that aligns to your CPD goals, you can access the Med CPD directory at the bottom of the Catalogue page to source CPD activities that you can self-record with CPD Home.
The CPD Tracker found on your Dashboard is designed to provide you with a real-time visual representation of your progress in meeting the Standard and the CPD Home Program requirements.
You can also check your progress by generating your Progress Report found under the Reports menu. Your Progress Report will provide you with a real-time summary of your achievements, which can also be printed as a PDF document.
As a CPD Home Subscriber, if you were unable to meet your CPD requirements by the end of the 2023 CPD Year, no need to panic, as it is not too late to seek an extension. You can request an extension by simply emailing enquiries@cpdhome.org.au and our helpful team will guide you through the process.
All extensions are valid until 31 March 2024.
CPD Home have devised an easy Stepwise Plan to support you in meeting your annual CPD requirements.
By the end of the first quarter, you should have accrued up to 17 CPD hours with a minimum of 4.5 hours for Domain 1 CPD activities and 8.5 hours for Domain 2 CPD activities.
