Description

This course is divided into three detailed units, each focusing on essential aspects of dermatological care:

Unit 1: Common Benign Conditions

The unit also covers soft tissue and neural lesions, like dermatofibromas and neurofibromas, as well as cystic lesions such as epidermoid cysts. Participants will learn about diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment options like cryotherapy, excision, and laser therapy.

Topics covered include pityriasis alba, pityriasis versicolor, idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis, vitiligo, and melasma. Participants will explore the causes, diagnostic tools like Wood’s lamp, and treatment options such as topical steroids, antifungals, and laser therapies.

Unit 3: Cutaneous Infections
This unit covers bacterial, fungal, and viral infections of the skin. Common infections discussed include impetigo, cellulitis, and erythrasma, as well as viral warts and scabies.
