Yes. The MBA Standard: Continuing Professional Development requires all non-exempt medical practitioners to have a written CPD Plan. The plan will help focus your CPD learning for the year to meet your learning goals.

2. How do I write my CPD Plan?

To support you with writing your CPD Plan, you may like to complete our Planning for Learning online module available from our catalogue. This module will guide you through the process of writing your plan.

  • What will my three focus topic areas be?
  • Which resources do I need to support me?
  • How will I measure my success?
  • What is my timeframe for actioning my CPD Plan?

When you are ready to write your CPD Plan, log on to the CPD Tracker and click My CPD Plan. Ensure you complete all mandatory fields.

You may also upload any supporting documentation you think relevant. Should you need to update your CPD Plan throughout the year you can edit the saved plan and re-submit it. Any documentation you have chosen to upload will need to be amended accordingly and reloaded.

If you are selected for a CPD Home Subscriber Audit, your completed CPD learning activities will be assessed against your CPD Plan to confirm their alignment to the plan and relevance to your scope of practice.

3. When completing My Profile, what do I enter in the My Professional Profile fields?
